Registration for the next cohort will be February of 2017.
This certification is limited to only 12 persons per cohort due to the intensive classes and the experiential nature of sandtray therapy itself.
The RIST program is unique in its nature to provide a solid understanding of the foundations of sandtray therapy as well as its roots in neuroscience. Advanced sandtray therapy classes for particular issues or theories are also offered for those in the RIST cohort.
The program itself is a hybrid program, meaning that the 4 required classes are held live but then followup and consultation is conducted all online, providing ease of access and decrease in unnecessary travel.
All classes will be held live at the Southern Sandtray Institute in Jonesboro, AR.
Levels 1 and 2 are held in the Spring (April)
Levels 3 and 4 are held in the Fall (November).
By the end of the year, each trainee will complete the hours and requirements necessary to receive the Registered Integrative Sandtray Therapist (RIST) designation.
