Spooky season has officially come to a close...so we hope you are taking this opportunity to hunt for clearance Halloween miniatures...literally everywhere!

Some of our favorite places to find price-reduced, after-season miniatures are Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Target, and local thrift stores or yard sales (after people purge their discarded decorations).

You can find all kinds of things to round out your "death" and "fantasy" shelves this time of year, so we hope that you are taking advantage...and don't forget the party supply aisle at your local grocery stores, that often have packs of tiny spooky goodies (eyeballs, skeletons, body parts, mice, snakes, spiders, etc), which all get used super often when exploring different themes in the sand.

As we enter into the holiday season, we may be having to grapple with changes in dynamics and typical routines. Perhaps family traditions are interrupted due to increased safety precautions this year, and we are unable to safely travel or spend time with family. Perhaps we are working overtime to help our clients who are in a state of crisis due to isolation and increased strain. Or maybe we are just totally overwhelmed by all the political unrest and drama, and are just ready for 2020 to be OVER!

Whatever the case may be, therapists, we are tired and stressed...and one of the best ways to combat this fatigue, for ourselves and our clients, is to focus on gratitude...
